To make sure the elves recognise your house, try using these tips:

• Use a fairly high resolution photo
  • We don’t need anything bigger than a megabyte but usually a camera phone picture won’t work…

• Don’t shoot any objects in the way so the elves can fit Santa in naturally
  • Santa can’t stand behind anything for the photo as the elves might not be able to see over it…

• Try to use a flash so the elves can get a clearer idea of your house and Santa can fit in more comfortably
  • The elves have great eyesight but for humans to see the photo they will have to have light but if you can’t use a flash try to get your picture so Santa can be photographed in the foreground from the waist up

• Always shoot your picture at normal eye hight so the perspective works
